TSV 1860 München U21 clinches Bayernliga Süd championship
The under‑21 side of TSV 1860 München secured the Bayernliga Süd title on the final matchday, beating FC Ismaning 5–1 in front of 186 spectators. Early goals from Cristian Leone and Emre Erdogan gave the hosts a two‑goal lead, and despite a consolation by Ilkan Atak, the Lions added a penalty, an own‑goal and a late strike from substitute Arian Ortivero Calderón to seal the victory.
Coach Alper Kayabunar said the team earned the championship after leading the table for most of the season. However, the promotion to the Regionalliga Bayern is not possible because TSV 1860 München’s senior squad will also compete in the 3. Liga next season, and Bavarian FA regulations prevent clubs from having teams in two divisions that differ by more than one tier.
