TSV 1860 Munich denied 3. Liga licence, TSV Havelse takes vacant spot

The German Football Association (DFB) announced that TSV 1860 Munich will not receive a licence to compete in the 2026/27 3. Liga season. Although the club secured its sporting position, it failed to meet a required financial condition within the deadline, prompting the DFB to revoke its licence and forcing the team to drop to the Regionalliga.

TSV Havelse, identified as the highest‑placed relegated side from the previous season, satisfied all economic, technical and organisational criteria. Consequently, the DFB awarded Havelse the open slot, completing the 3. Liga lineup for the upcoming season.
