TSV 1860 München ends partnership with investor Hasan Ismaik after funding shortfall
The TSV 1860 München football club announced the immediate termination of its 2011 cooperation agreement with Jordanian investor Hasan Ismaik’s HAM International Limited. The decision follows the club’s forced relegation to the Regionalliga Bayern after a €2.7 million shortfall prevented it from securing the licence required for the 3. Liga. The club stated, “Der TSV München von 1860 e. With the contract terminated, the playing rights have reverted to the parent e.V., and the club has already received approval from the Bavarian Football Association to compete in the Regionalliga Bayern. The club is now seeking new partners and restructuring its organization while the investor has indicated he may examine legal options regarding the termination.
