Former TSV 1860 official Nicolai Walch has called for a boycott of the club’s fanshop operated by Hasan Ismaik’s Merchandising GmbH, accusing it of poor sales of the newly released away jersey and threatening legal action over alleged competition‑law breaches. The dispute has highlighted a sharp drop in revenue for the fanshop – from €34,597 in July 2025 to just €7,600 after the June 2026 launch – and raised questions about the future of the five‑site operation.

In a separate development, coach Sven Bender resigned from SpVgg Unterhaching, sparking rumors of a possible return to TSV 1860. The club still lacks a legally recognised squad because player contracts remain with the insolvent KGaA while the playing licence belongs to the e.V.
