To avoid delays, T&T Group simultaneously constructed a dedicated 220 kV transmission line from Savannakhet to the Lao Bảo interconnection point in Quảng Trị, Vietnam. Engineers worked under harsh "3 no" conditions—no clean water, no phone signal, and no temporary housing—while building over 27 km of access roads, more than 45 km of internal roads, and an 80‑meter bridge (Tangatay) to ensure reliable power delivery.
