Hung Yen police prosecute six in human trafficking ring

Hung Yen Provincial Police have officially prosecuted six individuals for human trafficking and trafficking persons under the age of 16. The case involves the repeated buying and selling of two female karaoke employees for sums totaling tens of millions of Vietnamese dong.

Investigation records show the suspects utilized Facebook groups for karaoke workers to recruit and trade victims. The ring involved multiple individuals across different provinces, including Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong, and Phu Tho. The victims, identified as minors born in 2010 and 2011, were moved between different employers as part of the trafficking scheme.
