Tuğberk Yağız Gülter accused of destroying evidence in singer Güllü's death investigation

Lawyers representing the sister of singer Güllü have filed a criminal complaint against Tuğberk Yağız Gülter, the singer's son, alleging the destruction or tampering of digital evidence related to her death.

Güllü died after falling from a window at her home in Yalova's Çınarcık district. While her daughter, Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter, has already been sentenced to aggravated life imprisonment, new allegations have emerged regarding the handling of security footage. The complaint claims that a flash drive containing camera recordings was only delivered to authorities weeks after the incident.

Investigators are looking into claims that Gülter used artificial intelligence to ask questions such as, “Can it be detected if the audio of a video has been tampered with?” and “Can past camera recordings be accessed?” Additionally, the complaint notes that only Güllü and her son had access to the home security system, and some cameras were reportedly non-functional at the time of the incident. A separate allegation suggests that Gülter's fiancé's phone sent a signal from Yalova on the morning of the death.
