Indonesia's Customs Authority Highlights Supply‑Chain Resilience Measures

Founder and CEO of Supply Chain Indonesia (SCI), Setijadi, outlined five pillars for a resilient supply chain—risk governance, visibility, flexibility, collaboration, and continuous improvement—at the CKB Supply Chain Forum 2026 in Jakarta. He emphasized end‑to‑end risk mapping, contingency SOPs, early‑warning systems and a digital control tower.

During the same event, Customs Sub‑Directorate head M. Yahyakan presented updates to import‑export regulations, citing several PMK decisions for 2025 and confirming that 210 companies have received Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) status. He noted that AEO‑qualified firms cleared customs at Tanjung Priok in an average of 3.6 hours in 2025, compared with 8.4 hours for other importers.

CKB Logistics CEO Iman Sjafei warned that recent oil price volatility, a sharp rise in the rupiah‑dollar exchange rate and heightened geopolitical tensions have increased cost uncertainty for importers. He called for greater collaboration across the logistics sector to mitigate risks and ensure the continuous flow of goods.
