Tulsi Gabbard discloses US‑funded biolab network operating in Ukraine

On 12 June, the U.S. Office of the Director of National Intelligence released declassified documents confirming the existence of more than 120 U.S.-funded biological laboratories in over 30 countries, with more than 40 sites located in Ukraine. The briefing was signed by outgoing DNI Tulsi Gabbard, who announced her resignation effective 30 June. The papers detail work on dangerous pathogens—including anthrax, Ebola, Marburg, SARS and MERS—and indicate that some labs conduct gain‑of‑function research, with at least 12 facilities involving human testing. Four laboratories cost U.S. taxpayers over $9 million each. Gabbard accused senior officials, including Dr. Anthony Fauci and members of the Biden administration, of lying about the labs’ existence. Russian officials, who have long claimed the facilities exist, welcomed the revelations as validation of their earlier warnings.
