Tulsi Gabbard releases declassified documents linking Anthony Fauci to Wuhan gain‑of‑function funding
On her final day as Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard declassified hundreds of pages of communications that she says expose Dr. Anthony Fauci’s role in funding risky gain‑of‑function research at the Wuhan laboratory and steering U.S. intelligence assessments toward a natural‑origin narrative for COVID‑19. The released material includes emails, FOIA records and testimony from whistle‑blowers alleging retaliation against those who questioned the official story. Gabbard asserted that the pandemic caused “tremendous hardship” and called for transparency, accountability and an end to what she described as a “deep‑state” cover‑up. Fauci has not responded to requests for comment. The documents also show Fauci’s influence on the 2020 “Proximal Origin” paper and on briefings to the National Security Council during the Biden administration’s 90‑day intelligence review.
