2026 Asia Pacific and Taiwan Sustainable Action Awards recognize diverse SDG achievements

The 2026 Asia Pacific and Taiwan Sustainable Action Awards, organized by the Taiwan Sustainable Energy Research Foundation (TAISE), recognized various organizations for their contributions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Kaohsiung Medical University received gold and silver awards for its indigenous and remote healthcare initiatives and its home intravenous nutrition care team. Tunghai University earned multiple awards for music therapy, indigenous multilingual education, and youth Model United Nations programs. Chang Gung University of Science and Technology secured three gold and two silver awards for its work in elderly care, migrant worker health support, and AI-driven early childhood education.

In the public sector, the Yunlin County Government received 42 awards across multiple fields, including agriculture, environment, and social welfare, earning the Outstanding Livable Sustainable City award. Additionally, state-owned enterprises including CPC Corporation, Taipower, Taiwan Sugar, and Taiwan Water Corporation were recognized for integrating SDGs into their daily operations, focusing on clean energy and environmental protection.
