Tunisia, Greece, and Libya pursue expanded economic cooperation

Tunisia and Greece are working to strengthen bilateral cooperation across several economic sectors. Tunisian Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali Nafti met with Greek Ambassador Olga Anagnostopoulou in Tunis to discuss intensifying high-level visits and developing partnerships in renewable energy, information and communication technologies, agriculture, transport, and tourism. The discussions also focused on facilitating citizen mobility, including the mutual recognition of driver's licenses.

In Libya, the Misrata Free Zone (MFZ) held discussions with the Italian Ambassador to Libya, Gianluca Alberini, to enhance economic and investment cooperation. MFZ Chairman Mohsen Al-Sagoutri and officials reviewed potential projects within the zone, highlighting its strategic position as a gateway to the African continent. The meeting aimed to encourage Italian companies to utilize the zone for trade and market access into Africa.
