Tunisia launches digital school registration and payment system
Tunisia has launched a digitalized process for the 2026-2027 school year, requiring parents to complete school registration and fee payments through a new centralized platform, ‘Vie Scolaire’ (viescolaire.education.tn).
The registration process applies to primary, middle, and high school students in both public and private sectors. The procedure is divided into two distinct steps: first, confirming the registration or re-registration on the official portal, and second, settling the required fees.
To facilitate remote payments and reduce physical queues at post offices, the Tunisian Post, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, offers several secure electronic payment methods. These include the e-Dinar digital wallet, bank or prepaid cards, the ‘D17’ mobile application, and a USSD service (dialing *181#) for users without constant internet access. These electronic payment options are provided without additional service fees.
