Tunisia launches E-INDUSTRIE digital platform for industrial services

Tunisia's Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy has launched 'E-INDUSTRIE', a unified digital platform designed to modernize administrative services and facilitate remote access for businesses. Announced by Slah Zouari, the minister in charge of managing the ministry, the portal aims to reduce the need for physical visits and paper documentation through an integrated digital process.

The platform's first operational service focuses on technical data sheets for active inward processing operations. This allows companies importing raw materials for manufacturing to declare inputs and generated waste online. The system includes interoperability with the Directorate General of Customs, enabling real-time data exchange and status notifications.

Users can manage their entire application lifecycle through a personal space, including submitting requests, tracking progress, receiving notifications, and downloading administrative decisions. To ensure security, electronically issued documents include an electronic verification code (CEV) to confirm authenticity. The digitalization process will expand progressively to include other services, such as the importation of products subject to specific specifications and access to the Olive Oil Promotion Fund.
