Tunisia to host 2026 African Men's Volleyball Championship

The African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB) has announced that Tunisia will host the 2026 African Men's Volleyball Championship. The tournament was originally scheduled to take place in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The decision to relocate the event to Tunis follows concerns raised by several national federations regarding the current health and safety situation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The CAVB stated that the move is strictly due to health and security considerations and does not reflect a lack of confidence in the Congolese Volleyball Federation or the local authorities.
