Tunisian organizations launch solidarity drives for 2026-2027 school year

Various organizations in Tunisia are launching solidarity initiatives to support children with the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.

SOS Villages d’Enfants Tunisie has issued a call for donations from individuals and businesses to fund the educational integration of over 10,000 young people. The association seeks an estimated 5.953 million dinars to provide school supplies, clothing, textbooks, and transportation. The program aims to expand its reach from 12 to 14 governorates by the end of 2026. The organization reports a success rate of 87% among its beneficiaries.

In a separate initiative, Signal and Carrefour Tunisie have partnered with the Tunisian Bone Marrow Transplant Association. Through September 30, 2026, 500 millimes from the purchase of any Signal toothpaste or toothbrush at Carrefour Tunisia locations will be donated to help children in the association support acquire necessary school supplies.
