Tunisian educational preparation initiatives

Overview

Tunisia is undertaking various social and commercial initiatives to prepare for the 2026-2027 school year.

Charitable organizations have launched solidarity drives to support students. SOS Villages d’Enfants Tunisie has requested approximately 5.953 million dinars to provide school supplies, clothing, and transportation for over 10,000 young people across 14 governorates. Additionally, a partnership between Signal and Carrefour Tunisie will donate funds from toothpaste sales to the Tunisian Bone Marrow Transplant Association to assist children with school needs.

On the commercial and academic front, the UTICA headquarters will host a ‘Back to School’ salon from September 2 to 5, 2026, featuring educational products and EdTech solutions. Meanwhile, Tunisie Telecom held its ‘Knowledge Day’ to honor 437 high-achieving students and graduates, including top national baccalaureate laureates.
