Turin Police Arrest Multiple Suspects in Home and Car Theft Cases

The State Police in Turin detained five Albanian men, all legal residents, after a investigation linked them to a string of home burglaries in the municipalities of Giaveno, Ivrea and Leini. Police recovered stolen jewellery and other valuables worth about €60,000, as well as burglary tools and five radio transmitters used to coordinate the crimes. The suspects were charged with theft and receipt of stolen goods and placed in a local prison.

In a separate incident in the Crocetta district, a 46‑year‑old man was arrested for aggravated attempted theft of a parked vehicle after police observed him tampering with the car door. Video footage confirmed his actions, and he was found to have several previous convictions for property offences. He was charged with aggravated attempted theft.

Both operations were carried out by the Mobile Squad of the State Police in Turin, underscoring ongoing efforts to curb property crimes in the region.
