Turkey announces 75 million lira credit support for SMEs

Turkey's Minister of Industry and Technology, Mehmet Fatih Kacır, has announced a new financial support package for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) through the KOSGEB Global Competitiveness Support Program. The initiative offers loans of up to 75 million lira, a 20-point non-refundable financing support, and guarantees from the Credit Guarantee Fund (KGF).

The program aims to encourage high-value-added production, strengthen the international market position of Turkish businesses, and promote sustainable growth. Eligible applicants include fast-growing exporters, SMEs increasing R&D investments, medium-sized enterprises in high-technology sectors, and businesses involved in priority products under the HAMLE Program or the Turcorn 100 Program.

According to Minister Kacır, the program has provided a total of 3 billion lira in financing since its implementation in 2025. Interested businesses can submit their applications through the KOSGEB website until September 30.
