Turkey arrests 39 in coordinated THKP/C Dev-Yol terrorism raids

Simultaneous police operations were carried out in eight Turkish provinces – Istanbul, Kocaeli, Ankara, Aksaray, Kırklareli, Niğde, Ağrı and İzmir – targeting the youth wing of the THKP/C Dev‑Yol terrorist organization. Authorities raided 63 addresses, seized a pistol, ammunition, extensive organisational documents and digital material, and detained 39 suspects.

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office led the investigation, with technical surveillance, MASAK and HTS financial‑crime examinations identifying a total of 50 suspects. Ongoing efforts aim to locate and apprehend additional fugitives linked to the network.
