Beyşehir drug bust results in multiple arrests

Police in Konya’s Beyşehir district carried out coordinated raids against suspected drug dealers and users. Searches of residences uncovered about 2 000 doses of synthetic cannabinoids (often called “bonzai”), 39 synthetic ecstasy pills, packaged methamphetamine, a quantity of cocaine and paraphernalia used for consumption.

Two suspects, identified as S. N. and F. A. B., were arrested on charges of manufacturing, trafficking and using illicit drugs and were taken to court. A third person faced a separate charge for drug use. The detainees were held pending further judicial proceedings.
