Turkey Boosts Regional Infrastructure with New Projects in Edirne and Karabük
AK Party deputy chairman Nilhan Ayan inspected the Edirne Millet Bahçesi, highlighting that 48 billion lira has been invested in the city to date and announcing an additional 3 billion lira of projects slated for the near future. She emphasized the broader strategy of building roads, bridges, hospitals and public gardens with a long‑term vision, citing the Zero‑Waste Project’s recycling achievements and the preservation of Edirne’s historic sites.
Karabük provincial council deputy chairman İsmail Bağçe reported ongoing rural‑development investments across the province. Completed asphalt works in Ovacık and new road paving in Eflani were presented as steps to improve transportation safety and quality of life. Bağçe reaffirmed the council’s commitment to water, infrastructure and other citizen‑focused projects aimed at raising living standards throughout Karabük’s towns and villages.
