Overview
In early July, Turkey’s Rural Development Agency (TKDK) conducted a review of rural development initiatives in the province of Kütahya, signalling ongoing oversight of local projects.
A month later, officials announced a major expansion of regional infrastructure. AK Party deputy chairman Nilhan Ayan reported that 48 billion lira had already been invested in Edirne, with an additional 3 billion lira earmarked for new roads, bridges, hospitals, public gardens and recycling efforts. In Karabük, provincial council deputy chairman İsmail Bağçe highlighted completed asphalt works in Ovacık and new road paving in Eflani, emphasizing continued investment in water, transport and other citizen‑focused improvements across the province.
