Turkey-China Business Association Boosts Diplomatic Ties with Azerbaijan, China, and SCO

The Turkey-China Business Development and Support Association, led by President İhsan Beşer, is intensifying its diplomatic outreach. Beşer paid a farewell visit to Dr. Rashad Mammadov, the outgoing Azerbaijani ambassador to Ankara, discussing fraternal relations and prospects for economic cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan.

The association also participated in the launch of the fifth volume of “Xi Jinping: China’s Governance,” organized by the Chinese embassy, where officials exchanged views on China’s development model and ways to deepen Turkey‑China trade. In parallel, the group is strengthening ties with the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Economic and Trade Exchange Center; SCO coordinator Li Jingze visited Istanbul to discuss the 2026‑2027 cooperation programme and met with Turkish business leaders. These activities aim to promote Turkey’s external trade, investment and broader international collaboration.
