Turkey continues student tax-free tablet program for 2026

The Genç Teknoloji Destek Programı (Youth Technology Support Program) continues in 2026, providing financial assistance to eligible students in Turkey for tablet purchases. Under this program, the government provides a technological device support amount equivalent to 16.66% of the device's price, which is transferred directly to the student's IBAN account after purchase.

To qualify for the support, applicants must be Turkish citizens and university students (undergraduate or graduate, excluding open education) who have not yet reached the age of 26. The final sale price of the tablet, including taxes, must not exceed 9,500 TL. Additionally, the invoice must be issued in the name of the student and must not include any other products.
