Turkish student financial assistance programs
Overview
Turkey has implemented various financial assistance programs for students in 2026.
Under the Genç Teknoloji Destek Programı (Youth Technology Support Program), eligible university students under the age of 26 can receive a technological device support amount equivalent to 16.66% of a tablet’s price. To qualify, the tablet’s final sale price must not exceed 9,500 TL, and the support is transferred directly to the student’s IBAN account.
Additionally, the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Treasury and Finance have introduced subsidies for students in private vocational and technical Anatolian high schools for the 2026–2027 academic year. For schools within Organized Industrial Zones (OSBs), subsidies vary by field, with the highest amounts reaching 104,795 TL for motor vehicle and renewable energy technologies. Students in schools outside of OSBs in designated areas receive between 36,482 TL and 48,894 TL. Eligibility requires Turkish citizenship and continuous attendance.
