Turkey Diyanet Foundation's 'Two People One Life' Program Supports Young Couples

Under the Turkey Diyanet Foundation’s “Two People One Life” initiative, a 500,000‑lira dowry package was awarded to Ali Demir and Ratibe Nur Zenger, who were married in a ceremony organized by the Tavşanlı District Mufti, Dr. Reşit Ceylan, in Kütahya’s Tavşanlı district. The program, which received more than 42,000 applications nationwide, aims to strengthen family bonds by providing material and moral support to couples preparing for marriage.

In Mersin’s Mezitli district, the TDV Mezitli branch’s Women’s Department, aided by volunteer mothers, prepared a dowry set for 21‑year‑old Elif Ceren and her fiancé Çağrı Alparslan Bulut. The ceremony featured speeches by Il Mufti Mustafa Topal and Mezitli District Mufti Recep Çarpar, and included the presentation of a Turkish flag and a Quran. Both events highlight the foundation’s effort to reinforce the family institution across Turkish communities.
