Turkish Ministry expands marriage discount project for youth

The Turkish Ministry of Family and Social Services has expanded its ‘Support Project for Youth Getting Married’ under the Family and Youth Fund. The initiative aims to reduce the economic burden on young couples and strengthen the family structure.

As of the latest update, the project involves 1,191 companies providing discounts ranging from 5% to 40% on various products and services. This includes 44 national firms and 1,147 local businesses. Additionally, the ministry has established partnerships with 22 non-governmental organizations and 190 local governments.

Local municipalities offer further support, such as free wedding ceremonies, free wedding halls, and dowry assistance. Couples can access their specific discount codes through the e-Devlet portal and find more details on the official Family and Youth Fund website.
