Turkey faces flooding in Black Sea region

Heavy rainfall in Turkey, particularly in the Black Sea region and Ordu, has triggered significant flooding and water inundation. Civil society organizations have issued calls for national solidarity to support those affected by the disaster.

Sezai Karaosmanoğlu, President of the Gölköy İçyaka Social Solidarity and Mutual Aid Association, expressed condolences to citizens in affected regions and emphasized the importance of protecting life and property. He also extended gratitude to emergency response teams, including AFAD, municipal staff, and security forces, for their continuous work under difficult weather conditions. Authorities remind citizens to contact the 112 Emergency Call Center in case of urgent needs.
