Turkey: Fatal Karaman motorcycle‑electric bike crash and Diyarbakır motorcycle fire

A traffic collision in Karaman involving a motorcycle (plate 70 ACN 884) and an electric bike ridden by 65‑year‑old Mehmet Bozkır resulted in Bozkır’s death despite emergency treatment at Karaman Education and Research Hospital. In Diyarbakır’s Kayapınar district, a motorcycle suddenly ignited while in motion near the third industrial site of Fırat neighbourhood. The rider abandoned the vehicle and no injuries were reported. Firefighters arrived after a citizen’s call and extinguished the blaze, leaving the motorcycle completely destroyed. Authorities are examining the cause of the fire.
