Turkey holds animal protection awareness events in İnegöl and Kulu
In celebration of October 4 Animal Protection Day, various community awareness events were held in Turkey to promote animal welfare and compassion among children.
In İnegöl, the municipality organized a wall-painting activity at the Stray Animal Care and Treatment Center. Primary school students, accompanied by local officials including District Governor Ayhan Akpay and Deputy Mayor Hasan Aydın, painted animal-themed murals under the guidance of art teachers. The event also included tours of the facility to educate students on animal care and treatment.
In Kulu, veterinarians from the District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry met with kindergarten students. The program focused on teaching children about the rights of animals, the balance of nature, and proper ways to interact with and protect living creatures.
