Turkey hosts major AI and technology summits

Turkey is hosting major technology and artificial intelligence events aimed at strengthening its digital ecosystem. The GITEX Ai Türkiye 2026 summit has opened at the Istanbul Expo Center, bringing together over 350 corporate participants, 100 speakers, and thousands of technology executives from 70 countries. The event aligns with the 2026–2030 Artificial Intelligence Action Plan, which targets 10 billion USD in private sector investment for AI infrastructure and aims to provide AI literacy to five million people.

Simultaneously, the Türkiye Teknoloji Buluşmaları is launching a 10-city Anatolian tour sponsored by WhiteBIT TR. This 12-year-old initiative focuses on artificial intelligence, digital finance, and blockchain technologies. The tour is set to begin in Gaziantep on September 30, marking the series' 98th organization. The program features experts such as former Capital Markets Board President Prof. Dr. Vedat Akgiray and officials from the Ministry of Industry and Technology.
