Turkey implements digital skill and technology training programs

Various educational initiatives in Turkey are focusing on enhancing digital literacy and technological skills among youth and students. In Elazığ, the Digital Youth Center (DİGEM) held a certification ceremony for participants who completed training in digital marketing, artificial intelligence, and software. This project, supported by the European Union and coordinated by UNDP Turkey, aims to prepare different age groups and individuals with special needs for future professions.

In Bayburt, a university-led project introduced students to science and technology through 13 specialized workshops. These sessions covered diverse topics including artificial intelligence, virtual reality, data science, aviation, and smart irrigation systems. The initiative, led by Bayburt University, seeks to foster scientific thinking and problem-solving skills in children to prepare them for the national technology ecosystem.
