Turkey launches applications for new vocational training centers

The Ministry of National Education and Makina ve Kimya Endüstrisi (MKE) have opened the application period for the Kırıkkale Vocational Education Center program, which will admit 30 students to study Computerized Machine Manufacturing. Applications run from 13 July to the end of the month and require candidates to have taken the LGS exam and be at least 14 years old.

Ahlatcı Holding is also starting pre‑registration on 13 July for its Ahlatcı Kuyumculuk MESEM, Turkey’s first sector‑inside jewelry vocational school. The programme will train young people directly on the production floor, combining classroom theory with hands‑on apprenticeship to meet industry demand for skilled jewelers.

Both initiatives aim to increase the supply of qualified workers for key Turkish industries by providing practical, on‑site training for youth.
