Turkey launches digital access to deceased persons' financial records via e-Devlet

The Banks Association of Turkey (TBB) has introduced a new digital service via the e-Devlet portal, allowing legal heirs to access the Risk Center Reports of deceased individuals. This update enables heirs to view financial obligations and records digitally, reducing the need to visit bank branches or apply via mail.

Through the “Varis Hizmetleri” (Heir Services) menu on the e-Devlet website or mobile application, users can access reports containing current credit limits, debt information, individual credit applications, and records regarding checks and promissory notes. The reports also include information on delayed telephone and internet bills, as well as records related to tender bans.

Access to these free reports is subject to specific limits per deceased person: one report per day, four reports per month, and a maximum of 24 reports per calendar year. While the digital option is now available as of October 15, 2026, traditional application methods through bank branches and postal services remain active.
