Turkey e-Devlet digital service expansions
Overview
The e-Devlet platform in Turkey has undergone recent expansions to its digital service offerings. Initially, the scope of digital insurance services was broadened through the ‘My Private Insurances’ project, a collaboration involving the Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Agency (SEDDK). This update allows vehicle owners to access accident detection reports, expert reports, fault rates, and insurance policy details through a single interface.
Following this, the Banks Association of Turkey (TBB) introduced a new service via e-Devlet that allows legal heirs to access the Risk Center Reports of deceased individuals. Through the ‘Varis Hizmetleri’ (Heir Services) menu, heirs can digitally review financial obligations, including credit limits, debts, and records regarding checks, promissory notes, and utility bills, reducing the necessity for physical bank visits.
