Turkey Ministry of National Education moves teacher seminars online

The Turkish Ministry of National Education (MEB) has announced that professional development activities for teachers during the November 2026 mid-term break will be conducted remotely. Instead of attending in-person meetings at their schools, teachers across all levels and types of institutions under the Ministry will complete their requirements via the Teacher Information Network (ÖBA) platform.

The professional studies are scheduled to take place between November 16 and November 20, 2026. Educational content will be made available on the ÖBA platform starting at 08:00 on Monday, November 16. To allow for flexibility, the Ministry has extended the access period, meaning teachers can complete their online training until 23:59 on Sunday, November 22, 2026.
