Turkey plans high-speed rail link from Cappadocia to Antalya
Studies for a new 541-kilometer high-speed railway project in Turkey have been completed. The planned route aims to connect Kayseri, Nevşehir, Aksaray, Konya, and Antalya, creating a vital link between the Cappadocia region and the Mediterranean coast.
The project is designed for operating speeds of 200 kilometers per hour and will feature a double-track, electrified infrastructure with advanced signaling systems. It is intended to serve both passenger and freight transport, establishing a new railway corridor for logistics alongside regional travel.
