Turkey promotes COP31 hosting vision in New York

Turkey has launched a promotional campaign in New York to highlight its vision for hosting COP31. The initiative, led by Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum, took place during the 81st UN General Assembly and New York Climate Week.

Coordinated by the Ministry and the Presidency's Directorate of Communications, the program included various public displays. Promotional posters were displayed at the Türkevi building, and LED-equipped trucks featuring COP31 themes traveled through Times Square and along the UN route.

Additionally, the campaign featured cultural and technological exhibitions at Türkevi, including the ‘SCOPE’ themed exhibition which utilized artificial intelligence, sound mapping, and immersive installations. The event also included traditional art demonstrations and the introduction of the Caretta AI-COP31 mascot.
