Turkey's exports to 60 target markets reach $94 billion in first half

Turkey’s “Export to Target Countries” strategy delivered $94 billion in exports to a list of 60 designated markets during January‑June 2026, bringing total trade with those nations to $233.3 billion. The Trade Ministry’s programme aims to diversify destinations, ease market entry and boost the global share of Turkish products.

Germany was the top destination with $11.2 billion, followed by the United States ($8.5 billion), the United Kingdom ($8 billion), Italy ($7.2 billion) and France ($5.7 billion). The 60‑country roster includes major economies such as China, Japan, Canada, Brazil and Saudi Arabia. Exporters receive support ranging from promotional activities and trade‑mission assistance to order‑fulfilment services and market‑entry subsidies.

These figures underscore the growing importance of diversified export markets for Turkey’s economy and set a benchmark for future trade‑policy goals.
