Turkey reports multiple small earthquakes in Balıkesir and Tunceli

Recent seismic activity has been recorded across various regions in Turkey, with notable concentrations in Balıkesir and Tunceli.

In Balıkesir, specifically within the Sındırgı district, a series of small-scale earthquakes occurred. Data from AFAD and Kandilli Rasathanesi indicate multiple tremors, including a 3.0 magnitude earthquake at a depth of 11.27 kilometers. Other recorded tremors in the Sındırgı area ranged from 1.1 to 2.5 magnitude.

In Tunceli, a 3.0 magnitude earthquake was recorded in the Pülümür district at a depth of 7 kilometers.

Additional minor seismic events were reported in other provinces, including Kahramanmaraş (2.6), Malatya (2.2), and İzmir (1.8).
