Turkish Trade Minister Ömer Bolat has highlighted significant economic milestones, noting that the national income has grown from $238 billion to $1.7 trillion over the past 23 years. He reported that goods exports have reached $280 billion, with a target of $410 billion by year-end. Additionally, the unemployment rate was recorded at 8.1% as of July, while employment rose from 20.5 million to over 32 million people.

In the digital sector, e-commerce volume in Turkey exceeded 4.5 trillion lira in 2025, representing a 52% increase. The number of businesses engaged in e-commerce has grown to 634,000. Bolat also emphasized support for small tradesmen, noting that 853 billion lira in financing has been provided over 23 years, with a recent 150 million TL resource allocated to Halkbank for tradesmen in Kayseri.

In agricultural cooperation, Minister İbrahim Yumaklı and German counterparts signed a declaration to deepen bilateral ties, aiming to increase the agricultural trade volume between Turkey and Germany to $5 billion. Meanwhile, in Kayseri, infrastructure works for the Kocasinan Geothermal-Based Greenhouse Organized Agricultural Zone are nearing completion, aimed at boosting modern agricultural production and exports.
