Turkey road network undergoes extensive construction and maintenance

The General Directorate of Highways announced that, as of 14 July 2026, construction, maintenance and surface renewal work continues on numerous motorways and highways across Turkey. Night‑time work runs from 20:00 to 07:00, and traffic is managed with controlled passages and detours.

Key projects include surface renewal on the TEM motorway between the Silivri‑Kınalı interchanges, a temporary closure of the North Marmara‑TEM connector, lane‑reversal on the Aydın‑Denizli motorway, and controlled traffic on the Beyşehir‑Seydişehir‑Antalya, Polatlı‑Yunak, Kahramanmaraş North Ring, Alaca‑Zile, Turhal‑Zile, Çanakkale‑Çan, Bingöl‑Solhan and Antalya‑Manavgat‑Alanya routes.
