Turkey sees rising temperatures in late July 2026 as heatwave peaks

The Turkish State Meteorological Service forecast hot weather across several regions for the end of July and early August 2026.

In Nevşehir, temperatures are expected to climb to a high of 26 °C on 31 July, rising further to 31 °C by 4 August, with night‑time lows staying above 20 °C. Humidity will fall to as low as 18 % and winds will be moderate.

Rize is predicted to experience a low of 21 °C and a high of 28 °C on 29 July, with cloudy, rainy conditions and humidity between 74 % and 81 %.

Istanbul’s five‑day outlook for 31 July 2026 indicates possible rain during the day, with temperature ranges and hourly changes to be monitored by residents.
