Turkey sees two separate traffic accidents injuring drivers
In the early morning hours in Gazipaşa, Antalya province, a car lost control, struck parked vehicles and motorcycles and rolled over. The driver was taken to Gazipaşa State Hospital with a blood‑alcohol level of 1.98 ‰, while several parked cars and four motorcycles suffered significant damage.
Later that day near the Otogar Anıt intersection in Yalvaç, Isparta province, a light commercial vehicle collided with a private car, veered into traffic signs and came to rest after a violent impact. The commercial vehicle was heavily damaged, and a 41‑year‑old passenger was taken to Yalvaç State Hospital for treatment. Both accidents prompted emergency and police responses and investigations are ongoing.
