Turkey to implement AI-supported irrigation systems

Turkey's Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, İbrahim Yumaklı, announced the launch of an exhibition of regional products organized by the State Hydraulic Works (DSİ) Foundation. The proceeds from the exhibition are dedicated to meeting the needs of village schools.

During the event held at the DSİ General Directorate, Yumaklı highlighted the integration of technology in agriculture, stating that the ministry will implement AI-supported irrigation automation systems. He noted that the combination of DSİ's engineering expertise and local producer efforts strengthens Turkey's agricultural infrastructure.

In previous years, the foundation directed exhibition proceeds to victims in Gaza and to creating memorial forests in Hatay following forest fires. This year's focus remains on supporting students in rural areas.
