According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Turkey's total exports to Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan amounted to $41.6 billion, while imports from these nations totaled $30.6 billion, resulting in a trade surplus of $10.9 billion for Turkey.

Among the member nations, Azerbaijan was the largest export destination for Turkey, accounting for $13.7 billion in sales over the five-year period. This was followed by Kazakhstan at $12.4 billion, Uzbekistan at $9.9 billion, and Kyrgyzstan at $5.6 billion.

The OTS aims to transform regional ties into geopolitical, economic, and security partnerships through its ‘Turkic World 2040 Vision Document’. Strategic goals include the free movement of commodities, capital, services, and technology, as well as establishing the Middle Corridor as a highly efficient global logistics route. The organization also prioritizes joint investments in renewable energy and smart grid technologies.
