Turkey traffic collisions kill a teacher and injure eight in Ankara

A two‑vehicle crash on the Hospital‑Industrial road near Şırnak killed Zafer Keleş, a teacher from Dedeli, Patnos, Ağrı, and injured three others. The accident occurred when Keleş’s car crossed into the opposite lane and struck a second vehicle, causing severe injuries that doctors could not treat in time.

In Ankara’s Mamak district, a minibus and a private car collided on a lane divided by barrels, causing the minibus to overturn. Eight people were injured and taken to local hospitals for treatment.

Both incidents prompted emergency response teams and are under investigation by local authorities.
