Turkey traffic collisions kill one and injure four

A fatal traffic collision on the Kütahya‑Afyonkarahisar highway involved two cars. One vehicle lost control, struck a lighting pole, rolled over and crossed into the opposite lane, where it was hit by another car. The crash killed 17‑year‑old Ali K. and injured the two drivers, Muhammet Ali K. and Halil İbrahim T., who were taken to Kütahya City Hospital.

In a separate incident in Konya’s Karatay district, two cars collided head‑on on Ahmet Hamdi Göğüş Avenue. A woman and her child riding in one of the vehicles were injured and received medical treatment after emergency services arrived. Both accidents prompted police investigations and traffic flow was restored after the wreckage was cleared.
