Turkey unveils 2026-2030 Artificial Intelligence Action Plan

Turkey has introduced its 2026-2030 Artificial Intelligence Action Plan, serving as a comprehensive roadmap for the nation's technological development. Announced by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, this plan succeeds the previous 2021-2025 National Artificial Intelligence Strategy.

Key objectives of the new roadmap include expanding AI literacy and expertise across the country. According to Ministry of Industry and Technology officials, the plan aims to establish AI literacy workshops in all 81 provinces. The initiative seeks to provide AI training to 5 million citizens within two years and cultivate a workforce consisting of 10,000 advanced AI specialists and 100,000 AI application professionals.
